AC Repair and Air Conditioning Service in Southlake
In larger homes, comfort problems often come from the system as a whole: zoning, ductwork, thermostat placement, and equipment sizing. We diagnose the full setup, not just the outdoor unit, and we explain what is causing uneven temperatures or high bills. When it is time to replace, we size new equipment correctly so it cools efficiently. We put every recommendation and price in writing, so you can compare your options before deciding.
Southlake homeowners should schedule AC repair when they notice any of these signs:
- Warm or lukewarm air from the vents, even with the thermostat set low
- Water pooling around the indoor unit or a new stain on the ceiling below it
- Short cycling, when the AC turns on and off every few minutes
- Clicking, grinding, or squealing noises from the outdoor unit
- Ice on the copper refrigerant lines or the indoor coil

Southlake AC Repair: Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer same-day AC repair in Southlake?
Yes. Norco Air offers same-day dispatch for AC repair in Southlake, and we dispatch from our shop at 5512C Midway Rd in Haltom City. Call (817) 484-0472, describe what the system is doing, and we will book the first available visit. Our vans carry common repair parts, so many problems are fixed on that first trip.
How much does AC repair cost in Southlake?
The price depends on what failed. A capacitor or a clogged drain line is a small repair, while a refrigerant leak or a failed compressor costs much more. We diagnose the system first and give you the exact price in writing before any work starts. There are no overtime or weekend fees.
Should I repair or replace my air conditioner?
Look at three things: the age of the system, the cost of this repair, and how often it has failed recently. If the unit is older and the repair is large, replacement often costs less over the next few summers. We give Southlake homeowners both options with real prices so the decision is yours.
Which AC brands do you work on?
We service all major makes and models of central air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini splits in Southlake. If your system needs a part we do not carry on the van, we tell you what failed, what it costs, and when we can finish the job.
How often should my AC be serviced?
Once a year, ideally in spring before the first 90-degree week. An AC maintenance visit includes cleaning the coils, checking refrigerant, and testing electrical parts, which catches worn components before they fail on a hot afternoon.
