AC & Cooling Services in Grapevine, TX
Norco Air provides AC repair, maintenance, and installation in Grapevine, TX, from homes near historic Main Street to neighborhoods by Grapevine Lake. We offer AC installation and repair, AC maintenance, ductless mini split systems, and thermostat installation. Our technicians work on all major makes and models and arrive with stocked vans. Whether your home is a single-story ranch or a two-story house with a bonus room, we look at how the system actually cools each area before we recommend anything.
Grapevine AC Repair and Air Conditioning Service
When a Grapevine AC system struggles, the problem is often not just the outdoor unit. We look at the full system, including the evaporator coil, blower, ductwork, and thermostat, to find why rooms are warm or bills are rising. If an upstairs bonus room or converted garage never gets cool, a ductless mini split may be a better fix than oversizing the whole system. We also check thermostat placement and settings, since a thermostat in a sunny hallway or near a supply vent can make the whole system run the wrong way.
Grapevine homeowners should schedule AC repair when they notice any of these signs:
- Warm or lukewarm air from the vents, even with the thermostat set low
- The house feels sticky and humid even while the AC is running
- Short cycling, when the AC turns on and off every few minutes
- Water pooling around the indoor unit or a new stain on the ceiling below it
- The system runs nonstop and never reaches the set temperature

Grapevine AC Repair: Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer same-day AC repair in Grapevine?
Yes. Norco Air offers same-day dispatch for AC repair in Grapevine, and we dispatch from our shop at 5512C Midway Rd in Haltom City. Call (817) 484-0472, describe what the system is doing, and we will book the first available visit. Our vans carry common repair parts, so many problems are fixed on that first trip.
How much does AC repair cost in Grapevine?
The price depends on what failed. A capacitor or a clogged drain line is a small repair, while a refrigerant leak or a failed compressor costs much more. We diagnose the system first and give you the exact price in writing before any work starts. There are no overtime or weekend fees.
Which AC brands do you work on?
We service all major makes and models of central air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini splits in Grapevine. If your system needs a part we do not carry on the van, we tell you what failed, what it costs, and when we can finish the job.
What temperature should I set my thermostat in summer?
The U.S. Department of Energy suggests 78°F when you are home and awake, and a higher setting when you are away. If your Grapevine home cannot hold 78°F on a hot afternoon, that is a sign the system needs a check, not a lower setting.
Do you offer financing for a new AC system?
Yes. We offer flexible financing options, including 0% interest plans, for Grapevine homeowners who need a new system. We size the equipment to your home and explain the monthly cost before you commit.
